Amboseli park is famous for large herds of elephants that are drenched in the swamps. Animals that can also be spotted include gazelle, buffalos, Burchell's zebra, Grevy gazelles, warthogs, some resident wildebeest due to the migration. The big five are also dominant with the exception of the rhinos. The best time to visit Amboseli National Reserve would be during the dry season June to October, this season animals would not hide in the thin vegetation. Long rains are in November, short rains in April and May, due to climate rains pattern change from time to time however game viewing is possible throughout the year.
